Real Ale Rambles combines two great British pleasures: a good country walk and a well-kept pint at the end of it. We share circular walking routes across the UK, each finishing at a pub worth visiting, with distances, terrain and transport tips.

For beer lovers, our guides explain real ale styles, cask conditioning and how to tell a well-kept pint, along with profiles of independent breweries. We also keep track of beer festivals around the country so you can plan your next visit.
