NAME PHEASANT
ADDRESS 27 WELL STREET
I presume this name is a reference to hunting. The pub is thought to date to before 1800. In 1801 it was used for auctions. In 1926 it was sold by Charingtons and it closed in 1935 for the constrruction of Corporation Street.
