Here is what we think is the only comprehensive record of pubs and beerhouses within the Coventry city boundaries going back as far as available records allow. At this time Tile Hill and Westwood were owned by the Lords Leigh of Stoneleigh Abbey. There are some beerhouses

In the 1841 census Sarah Hall, 60, had a beer shop in The Village, Stoneleigh. There is no other reference to Sarah hall in the website.

I take it that this really was Stoneleigh Village and not Tile Hill or Westwood.
