In the 1841 census Francis Ball is 35 and a ribbon weaver in Longford. In 1851 he is 45 and a victualler in Longford. In 1861 he is 54 and a victualler at the Coach and Horses, Foleshill and in 1871, 65 and a victualler in Folsehill
