Here is what we think is the only comprehensive record of pubs and beerhouses within the Coventry city boundaries going back as far as available records allow. In the 1841 census there are no matching records. In 1851 William Farren, 41, is a ribbon weaver in High Street. In 1861 he is 51, a silk weaver in Hign Street and in 1871 is 61, a ribbon weaver in West Street.

There are no other references to Farren in the nineteenth century in the website.
