THIS BECAME GRIFFIN

In 1841 Jonathan Bray was 75, a publican in Gosford Street. In 1851 he was 86, a retired brewer and victualler, living with William Bray, 56, a brewer and victualler in Gosford Street. By 1871 William Bray, 66, was a baker in West Orchard

This is the Griffin in Gosford Street.

Jonathan Bray was licensee there in 1841 and William Bray followed from 1850 to 1851
