In the 1871 census there is a John Barr, beer house keeper and carpenter at the Malt Shovel, Stonebridge and a John Barr, innkeeper at Dockers Lane, Berkeswell. Mary Ann Barr, 42, appears in the 1891 census in Piece 2452, Folio 45.
