In the 1841 census Samuel Gardner, 40, is an innkeeper in Warwick Lane, married to Hannah Sibley, 38. In the 1851 census there is no Samuel Gardner and Hannah, now 55, is living with her sister, Mary Waters and William Waters, brewer, in Warwick Lane.
