Here is what we think is the only comprehensive record of pubs and beerhouses within the Coventry city boundaries going back as far as available records allow. This is an ongoing project so contributions, corrections or additions to this archive, especially anecdotes, photos and media are most welcome. One unidentified beerhouse here. There were no poublic houses on Freeth Street, but Edwin Fossey had the Beerhouse at 37 Freeth Street in 1881. Freeth Street ran between Jordan Well and New Street. Is there any possibilty it was on one of these streets ?
